She co-founded Texen Power Company, first Latina co-owner and of a Texas energy company. Executive Staffing (co-founder) serving the maquiladora industry in Mexico. She continues operating contracts for the Air Force and DOS, Alamo Travel has been in business for 40 years.
She also owns two real estate companies in San Antonio, Alamo Holdings LLC and LVSA.
As an active community leader, Pat has lent her experience and dedication to several nonprofit organizations such as The National Association of Women Business Owners San Antonio (President), Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulatory (State Commissioner 2004), Free Trade Alliance (Board Secretary) San Antonio Public Library Foundation (Board member), The Society of Government Travel Professionals (Board secretary), American Express Business Travel Services (Advisory Board member), SAMM Ministries (Board member), BBV Compass Bank (advisory board member), SER Jobs for Success Workforce Development Bboard member), San Antonio Economic Development Foundation (Executive Board member), Chamber Orchestra of San Antonio (Board member).
